The first major event will be the UK Cool Kart Grand Prix - 16th April 2011 at the Sandbach Transport Festival where up to 15 Cool karts will race. Each Cool Kart will be of a similar design, different colours, and be customized with extra features and accessories according to sponsor’s requests. Cool Karts also will feature in a number of entertaining race events pushed by Dave Smith (Team GB Bobsleigh athlete) and other local athletes.
Cool Kart Appearances:
a) Global trading Conference at Derby University enterprise Centre - 16th March
b) Promotional event at Xpress Studios in Derby Eagle Centre & Westfield centre on 18th March.
c) Charity event on 29th/30th March at David Lloyds fitness centre with Derby County Football Team.
d) Derby 10k fun run on 3rd April at Pride Park football stadium.
e) Photo-shoot and press event at Donnington Racing Park - TBC.
f) Promotional tour around Stoke on Trent – 1st week of April.
g) 16th April at Sandbach Transport festival (crowd of 25,000 expected)
h) Race for Life (Derby) - 7th & 8th May
i) Derby Carnival – 16th & 17th July.
j) Nottingham Carnival 14th & 15th august.
k) Other fun runs, outdoor events and school visits TBC.
Just Cool Kart will be visiting business, schools, retail, sports and entertainment venues.
